Tiana is a cinematographer, producer, and director based between Upstate New York and Shanghai. Her work explores how space, memory, and cultural environments shape human behavior and emotional states. She is drawn to stories in which physical settings function as active forces — influencing perception, identity, and human relationships.

Born in China and having worked across the United States, Asia, and Europe, Tiana approaches filmmaking as an integrated practice. With experience spanning directing, cinematography, producing, and post-production, she treats visual language and narrative structure as interconnected elements within a larger system.

In the spring of 2024, she spent a semester at Filmová a televizní fakulta Akademie múzických umění (FAMU) in Prague, Czech Republic, where she developed and shot a short narrative film, Empty, on 35mm. The experience deepened her engagement with cross-cultural storytelling and reinforced her interest in spatial and psychological atmospheres. She is currently completing her senior year at Syracuse University and is in post-production on her thesis short, Black Goat, an experimental narrative exploring fractured perception and memory shaped by the subconscious.
